When you hang up a roll of toilet paper, do you let it hang over the outside or under on the inside?

There's no real purpose to this thread other than I want to see how long it takes to degenerate into a political bitchfit thread.

Clearly, those who roll toilet paper under are, "Letting it hang low" and are; therefore, liberal. Those who roll toilet paper over and above the roll are, "Above the influence" and are; therefore, conservative.

People who use toilet paper are conservatives who hate the earth. If you don't use toilet paper and you just use several washcloths that you disinfect and wash regularly, you're a liberal who hates logging companies and climate change.

I just kept the roll on the toilet. At my last place, some fucking genius decided to put the roll on the wall opposite on the toilet so you couldn't reach it if you were sitting on the can, though. It was always a couple inches out of reach :(

A study was done some years ago, observing the toilet paper habits of different cultures.

Observation indicated that Americans tended to scrunch their toilet paper into a ball and just stuff it in there. Eurolanders, especially Germans, neatly fold their toilet paper and carefully wipe their asses.

It was believed that this was a manifestation of American profligacy and European grace.

And I bet you think I am kidding.

Definitely over.

I've switched it at other people's houses before when it's been under.

Under is just the worst.

Over. Also, neatly fold.

I've heard that over is impossible in a house with cats, because they'll swat the shit out of it, and if it's under then it doesn't get unrolled through repeated batting. Only argument in favor of under.

I don't have cats.

PETA says you're a jerk and you need to become a vegetarian to atone for your sins against cats

100% false, my cat never messes with it. And I've had numerous other cats and it's never been an issue at all.

This is just cat hating propaganda.

The fuck is a beday?

Dowels are for bads, pick up the role with two fingers and never accidentally have the tip of the paper roll fall into the bowl.
