When we go to a bar, it's usually fancier (if I want to drink around ramshackles, I can do that at home), and I usually go with Guinness in colder months and Blue Moon in warmer, or Boston Lager anytime.

Just realized I haven't had any good ol Sammy Adam in a long time.

Jameson is also pretty much king of whiskey. I usually gravitate towards Blackheart though if I'm going hardmode.

Here's a question.

Guinness....do you like it warm or cold?

Both. Never ice cold though.

High 40's-Low 50's. Some would call that warm. Those people are looney.

I'm thinking about brewing a Stella clone because I'm still not done being disappointed by other people and the girl I took to the expensive show loves that shit. I don't have a lagering chamber, so I'm probably going to find what looks like the right mix of grains and try one of three things:

1) Brew it as a Kölsch. (Which probably won't work since I can't lager, and second stage fermentation requires lagering)
2) Brew it as a cream ale.
3) Brew it as a Steam Beer (commonly called a California Common since Anchor Steam has trademark/copyright on the Steam thing).
