Depends on what you mean by "market".

F2P is more expensive than sub. If it wasn't, then the sub price structure would be more profitable. F2P is a scam, plain and simple, and its popularity is the result of stupidity meets greed. This is the end result of the floodgates of gaming being opened to women, children, morons, losers and the inbred.

Eventually products will get so shitty that the core market won't buy them, and the loser hordes will go find some other fad to pound into the ground, and we'll get some decent games again.

As for TERA, meh. Boobs are boobs.

There never really was a market for them, at least not larger than there is now. It's just that most MMOs back in the day were stable at like 100k users, if that. The reason F2P is a necessity now isn't because sub gaming is dead, but because most developers (publishers, really) think they need 500k+ to stay afloat, so they'd rather pull tricks like making you pay for gear and cosmetic stuff.

But yeah that was a not-so-short way of agreeing that only WoW (and EvE Online) will stay sub-based.
