I would be scared to see what mine looks like but the software I used is out of date and no longer supported. It completely broke about 6 months ago and will not even open.

1. What program is that?

2. Bills and utilities? What's the breakdown on that?

3. You should drive less and bike more, to save you dough on fuel. Especially since it will improve your lady friend's ass, thighs and pneumatic functionality.

4. You should eat at more holes in the wall. Cheap Chinese and Italian restaurants are always exciting and win. Especially since you've said your woman is (no offense at all good sir) a low-class and very insecure individual. Not to say that she doesn't deserve the best - she sounds like a very nice person - but perhaps more is not, in fact, better.

5. I am having the same problem with drowning in debt. Actually, I was just bitching about it to Tuhl. Moving to Cincinnati is going to be VERY expensive and involve taking out about $3,000 in debt I can't afford - but I feel I have no choice. My total expenses are about $2k a month - $1100 on rent and $900 on everything else combined.

Looks like Mint.com , which is what all the pros use.

This, though it's not like supermarkets are free either. Still, 500 a month on food? You guys must eat out all the time.

I need to learn how to cook, looked at my bank statement and yeah, eating out every single day for a month is deceptively expensive. 5-15 bucks isn't much but times that by 30 and it adds up quick.

I am pretty sure with like $2 a day on food, I would be fine. But I like snacks, so when I have money I get them T-T

It's just Mint.com... A free website. It's just better than looking at a raw bank statement to see where your money is going.

$184.00 Textbook rental i had to replace.
$8.00 Netflix
$22.00 Credit Card payment (i usually pay $100 down a month)
$144.39 Car Insurance
$7.95 to Same Day one of my bills.
$89.09 Cell Phone Bill (usually $109, but got money off for upgrading my phone)

I don't own a bike, my job is too far to bike, and so is my girlfriend's house.

Most of my meals out aren't with her. I usually buy a snack the morning from a convenience store, fast food breakfast, fast food lunch. Dinner at home or at my girl's

I KNEW IT WAS MINT.COM....what do I win?

Anyway, I really need to cook more as well...my food budget is absurd every month.

You need to cut the convenience store habit pronto. My BFF discovered that once he cut that habit (Tip: go to the dollar store and buy a months worth of snacks for the cost of one or two convenience store trips) that he was much better financially.

Pay your bills as soon as they come in the mail. You shouldn't be paying fees.

Do you *need* Netflix?

Take your girlfriend on a picnic. Pack your lunch. Try to consolidate trips instead of making special store runs... I have more suggestions too... I'm excellent at stretching money and finding ways for even the tightest budget to start saving. (Having a 6 month reserve should be a goal)

I definitely need Netflix. It is all I use to watch anything. Unless it's not on there, then 1channel.ch is my best friend.

Convenience store habit....

So would CVS count as a convenience store? I have an issue that I am constantly going to CVS for everything. It's the closest thing to me, and the only good grocery store is trader joes (which doesn't have all the useful pharmacy stuff).

I probably spend way too much $$ at CVS.
