Are you using one of those novelty pots? You know, the ones with no holes in the bottom?

The most important thing when cultivating a potted plant is having good drainage. Most of those pots sold for the purpose have no holes and are terrible for the purpose. To pot a plant properly, there has to be a layer of gravel at the bottom, and the potting soil typically needs to be cut with a bit of sand and clay. If the soil is too thin, it will accumulate moisture and kill the plant through root rot. If you are planting a bonsai tree, I would recommend a thicker soil.

Also (obvious though it may sound), keep the plant exposed to bright, natural sunlight, but in low heat. Very few plants are truly indoor, in the sense that they can thrive without bright sunlight. Light fixtures are a poor substitute; the wavelength isn't compatible.

Whether you're starting from seed or cutting, I recommend propagating a few dozen specimens in one of those dozen-seedling containers, then transplanting the one that looks healthiest. Don't commit to one seed or cutting off the bat.

Or am I telling you things you already know, Rathmoon? =P

I say all of us should reroll someplace where we have no roots whatsoever. Level at the same pace, make alts to PL if we feel like it. Set established times for leveling and milestones / goals we stick to. Relive the experience as casuals hah.

Nope.

If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.

Can't, won't happen.

It does sadden me to see people post less on FUBU. My fault? Probably. Either way, makes me feel sad.

Reminds me of this one episode of ST:TNG...

I can't play on most servers. Anything I make there collects dust.
