Are monks good in terms of healer or dmg? Been thinking about returning casually.

My monk partner does quite well now but he is salivating about the changes coming in the next patch. It saddens me though that I had to level my paladin to heal in arenas because they fucked disc priest sideways. In threes my paladin last twice as long as my paladin if focused and is in mostly contenders gear with the 450 boa sword and crafted pve shield. That is what is fucking broken.

lol fuck warriors

I don't care about wow's pvp (what else is new) but monk healer's certainly look like they were made for pvp, not pve.

Disc is broken beyond description, hence why I'm now shadow, which is balanced bordering OP

Disc is still viable in rated battle grounds as long as you make sure to use your utility spells but in arenas when you have some warrior crawling up your ass and you cant get away. I healed on my monk at the start of the expansion in pvp but changed to my druid while lynx rush was still broken. We are running Hpal/ww/bm huntard currently while I gear my pally for next season.

Viable in R BGs but not while gearing. As a Spriest I still bring a TON of viable utility spells. Ranged silence, ranged disarm, offensive dispel, mass dispel, AOE fear, angelic feather, shields, off heals via glyph, life grip, AOE mana regen via hymn, etc. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff.

There's not really much reason to bring a still-gearing disc priest vs a still gearing Spriest. They need to reintroduce mana burn as a healer only talent and make Archangel/Atonement viable for more than leveling.

My suggestion to fix AA/Atonement would be to allow a priest to glyph or spec for offensive damage talents to share separate silence lockouts to healing talents. Maybe allow Atonement to buff the affected raid member with a shield equivalent to 1/2 of your Power Word: Shield, or a similar effect. 3% damage done increase / healing taken increase, but not all of those.

There's not really much reason to bring anything else in vs a Dwarf. They need to reintroduce an incarnation of Stoneform that isn't bad and make hi res nude models of femdwarves.

They decided that was a shitty idea. It's getting just nerfed, which is so fucking awesome.
