I did, and am tentatively optimistic about it. The first few interviews were.... not inspiring, but the information that's come out since then has been pretty interesting.

GW2 not being able to pull me in hard has indicated to me that no MMO ever, anywhere, is going to suck me in like I'd kinda wish it would. Which means GW2 will fill whatever ultra-casual desires I have to play any MMO.

Off topic, played GW2 yesterday with good speakers (headphones), there was about a million sounds I never knew were there and it was amazing.


Since I don't know what ESO stands for, I'm going to spend the rest of this post guessing.

Except its not being developed by Bethesda, and the only thing carrying over from their games is the lore and world. Which is what makes me apprehensive.

Bethesda owns Zenimax or whatever the name of the company is that's running it.

There's large scale PvP and it's an MMO. Otherwise it's pretty much in line with the rest of the Elder Scrolls.
