Splash black for Corpsejack Menace imo and or some scavenge, like Deadbridge Goliath or Slitherhead. That's what I wanna do.

Loving Rubblebelt Raidersand Frontline Medic is p good. Really going to have to refocus my humans because it's getting too jack of all trades. Tempted to splash blue for Bioshifting fun times with Fathom Mage.

75% of people I play on cockatrice are rolling Human. Every deck, barring one Gruul deck, has had White in it. Usually White/Red or White/Black humans.

Fuck how terrible Dimir is too, although I might be able to make it acceptable splashing some crutch Orzhov controls and maybe Silverblade Paladin because derp-pretty-much-have-to-if-you-have-white.

The other option being BUr and trade white control for red aggro in the form of creature buffing (Madcap Skills and Curse of Stalked Prey - because Dimir decks have hard to block creatures fucking everywhere - oh wait, better have Hellriders because derp-pretty-much-have-to-if-you-have-red).

Because just BU doesn't mill fast enough to make up for it's lack of straight up damage and lack of control/delay. You'd be surprised how hard it is to get 10 cards in the GY for Jace's Phantasm without becoming too far behind for it to matter. Let alone getting a useful Consuming Aberration out before it's too late.

I'm hoping Nightveil Specter and Chromatic Lantern can make for pretty lol funtimes.

Did I mention fuck Humans?

Also I was thinking of Deadbridge Goliath, I think I'll try it.

My current standard deck. It's a great deck, and pretty fun to run. I still get ran over by the current aggro decks. Not to mention everybody is starting to realize how great of a card Volcanic Strength is against Naya and u/w/r. Hope you're all enjoying the current meta.

Standard is for squares. Although this is a pretty funny combo to pull off especially since it's easy.

I always built standard decks. One, so I could play them in standard-legal events; two, it was more of a challenge only have certain cards available to me; three, stacking a deck full of cheap/banned cards just feels like cheating to me.

I don't throw Umezawa's Jitte's and other cheap stuff in every deck. I just stick with themed decks like Samurai generally. Though I threw in Swords to Plowshares for that one because it is 99% Kamigawa cards, but I suppose then I really could throw in Jitte's to make it Kamigawa block legal...

Stacking absurdly good cards is turbofag.

I like decks to be ~80-100% themed, with useful non-themed cards. I also intentionally refrain from using abundant amounts of amazing, non-theme cards and don't use anything that's banned in Modern/Vintage/Legacy.

I ONLY make themed decks. That usually means that they become tribals, which can sometimes be terrible, but I love it.
