I spilled a small amount of soda on my gf's laptop and now her k, n, and period keys aren't working. The reistance is fine, they'll go back up after being hit, but they're not showing up on screen.

I'd check google but we're heading out the door and I'm sure at least one person here has had this problem and might have some advice.

But really, assuming the keys aren't retarded and you can get them back on, you need a dab of rubbing alcohol possibly. Good luck not breaking a spring or plastic clip if they are the shitty ones though.

How will rubbing alcohol help a short or mechanical problem due to a fluid?

Xeoni, the problem will probably correct itself once the soda dries. Try again tomorrow.

i think the rubbing alcohol is to remove the dried soda that's on the circuitry

Verily, I have often laughed at weaklings who thought themselves proud because they had no claws.
