Dear Drought Stricken Parts of the World,

You can have some of my rain, in exchange for some fucking sun. After snow in goddamn May, I'm in no mood for stupid bullshit. Three weeks of rain almost every day falls in the category of fucking bullshit. You need rain, I need sun, so let's make a trade. I assure you, rain good quality.

My summer job does not allow us to work in the rain for obvious reasons (outdoor work) so yea, if this monsoon could go away that would be great.

It makes the world dark so I can sleep during the day. I'm all for it, no matter how much I'd like to give some rain to drought-stricken areas.

This amuses me. If we have a mild summer and a cold winter, that just "weather, not climate," but you get a little bit of rain (like it never rained on-and-off for a month or more at a time before the internal combustion engine) and suddenly Chicken Little sees the sky falling.

After the last three or fours years of less-than-average rain, you'd think people would be happy about the way the weather has been this year.

We shouldn't be dumping bullshit into the air/water when we can reasonably avoid it, but with only around a degree of change in the global temperature over the last 100 years the only explanation I can find for this popular fixation is that it's popular and some of you are fixated on making sure everyone knows you believe in all the right things.

glorious best coast and our 70 degree, partly cloudy, blue skies summers. suck it.

Wouldn't matter anyway since we're not getting torrential downpours here. It's just normal rainfall. Which is better than "not enough rain" for another year.
