Man, nobody does any research here ;p

Last I looked (was a while ago), evidence was suggesting that Zimmerman followed Martin, lost him or simply stopped, headed back to his vehicle, where Martin approached him. Then Martin asked "You got a problem?", Zimmerman responded "No", then Martin said "Well you do now" before striking Zimmerman. Martin was shot while on top of Zimmerman "MMA style".
I was waiting for the results on where the bullet had pierced/exited Mr. Martin. That, plus the gashes to the back of Zimmerman's head and his broken nose... I don't see Mr. Zimmerman going to prison. Especially for 2nd degree (boy did the public shoot itself in the foot with pressuring that).
In any case, this whole case, was blown entirely out of proportion, everybody jumped on a bandwagon before any facts started coming in, the entire thing was a fucking circus.

Directly to the left of the words "Twin Trees" is the clubhouse with the pool behind it. They were nowhere near Zimmerman's vehicle. From the looks of it, he continued to follow Martin.

Also, MMA-style almost certainly means a full mount. It's the most recognizable position from MMA, and fits the injuries Zimmerman sustained.

If Martin was on top of Zimmerman in this way, I have two questions.
1. Why is his face not more busted?

2. How the hell would you get a gun out of a holster if it's on your waist in that position? Seems you'd be more likely to block your face or try to wrestle the other person's arms away.
It seems reasonable to me that he had the gun out when he hung up and began following Martin. It would appear Martin cut through a yard to get on the sidewalk that runs between the houses on two separate roads, essentially coming upon the back door of the place he was staying. It would seem he did everything possible to just get out of the situation. How the altercation went down is obviously up for speculation. A reasonable one to me is Martin notices he's still being followed, which would be when this came into play.

Trayvon said, 'What, are you following me for,' and the man said, 'What are you doing here.' Next thing I hear is somebody pushing, and somebody pushed Trayvon because the head set just fell. I called him again and he didn't answer the phone.
Autopsy reports say the shot was in "intermediate range", from 1-18 inches away. Front to back, no exit wound, through the heart and left lung.
Eyewitnesses are sketchy at best. Some say Zimmerman was on top, some say Martin was. One witness is a 13 year old whose mother claims it was too dark to see and he was coerced into making a statement about things he couldn't remember, etc.
