my money is on 6.0, which could still be months and months away, depending on when you believe wod will come out

I believe they said it would be pre-WoD patch, but I could be wrong.

6.0 is the expansion itself, and there's always a pre-expansion patch. So I was wondering which will get rid of challenge modes, and it seems like it will be the pre-expansion patch.

the question is if the CMs are gonna be cut prior to that, which i doubt, because the reason for locking them out is cause of all the changes which come in 6.0, but you never know

Isn't the pre-xpack patch 6.0 without the option to buy the expansion yet?

I've always thought the X.0 patch was the expac itself. At least in convos, most people I've talked to do that. But I could be wrong!

X.0 is the expansion patch. New skills, new trees, everything is upgraded to expansion level. X.1 is the release of the expansion.

For example, 2.0, rogues learned mutilate. 2.1, you can go through the dark portal.

X.0 is the expansion patch (usually a few weeks before release), and there is a patchless transition into the expansion itself when it is released.

X.1 is always a content patch, and it comes months after expansion release.

If destruction exists, we must destroy everything.

the hardest part of getting CMs done is getting the group together. Sat on 8/9 for a month with Temple of the Jade Serpent being last (easiest).
