Does anyone play on these? I read an interesting article on them, and saw a few fun videos. Just curious.

I used to play on scriptcraft and wowone. They were very fun, but that's because I loved the solo aspect of the game back then. If you're looking for the awesomefunsauce experience that was vanilla, I would rate it at 7/10. It's just not the same without the people, but almost.

Oh and also, it makes you really want to go back to retail wow quickly. They've made so many quality of life changes to the game that are hard to do without now that we are used to them.

some of them have been alright, but if you're looking for accurate raids you won't get it. even the ones that are properly scripted end up being undertuned. that said, a lot of the times the communities work much like they did in vanilla, with all the @posts and people getting mad on the public forum or other silly things.

Howw are the dungeons? If All I wanted to do was run five mans, would it be like retail?

Not as far as I've seen. The dungeons are usually broken, and with most of the servers offering "insta 60" and faster leveling, most 5 mans are ignored and therefore not very high on the list of priorities for the makers.

Found a 1X leveling server. Stability is about 1-2 days before something happens. Even then it's down for only a couple seconds. No pay to win. Made a human mage and already made a few leveling friends. I've asked several people and everyone seems to think everything is well scripted. I have not encountered any major bugs. Well, maybe Captain Sanders map is bugged because after 100 murlocs that fucking thing still had not dropped. Maybe I just was unlucky.

Also, this server merged with scriptcraft. So you can xfer your scriptcraft character fant.

I got a copyright infraction letter for downloading an older version of wow once.
