Will probably play casually. IDK.
Also, not sure if I can go back to 250+ ping after playing with 5 ping on Aus servers xd

Who knows...more interested in Camelot Unchained and Pantheon: RoF but they're in alpha/beta atm

If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.

I'm definitely going to check it out. Not sure how invested i'll ultimately get - but we'll see.

I am moderately excited. Aug/Sept is probably not a great time for me though :[

Doing it because packaging up nostalgia and selling it to me isn't all that hard.

In unrelated news, pour one out for USD and Jubber. They're both Nazis now.

To be fair, the contrarian conservative grumps of the late 2000s and early 2010s are the Nazis of today. The propaganda just got better. So neither of those are surprises.

If it's any consolation, React/Brawlsack is now an Antifa squad leader or something, so I suppose that balances it out.

I guess I'm going to be playing on [A]Stalagg to start. If I play horde at all there seem to be a lot of options(The Prime Meridian looks to be on Herod, and Tempest and some Dissension people seem to be planning on Whitemane).

Seems I might get my full nostalgic vanilla experience and start off having no friends >.>

So how many of you ended up playing classic? How's your experience been thus far? I am not. I raided the first two patches of BFA and then I quit back in April, not really interested in picking up classic. I remember what a struggle it was to do anything, and I can't recreate all the great times I had with the people I had them with, so trying to leave that nostalgia firmly in the rear-view. That being said, if they released BC servers, well... they may pull me back in :) Hope you're all doing well out there. It's been a minute, give or take a bunch of years.

Playing WoW again in 2018, kill me, thanks

Played since launch and was having fun. I thought I would have more fun when I finally got to SM, but the very opposite happened and burned out. I cancelled last Saturday. Think that was the last of WoW I will ever play.

Still going strong and nearing 60. There have been some grinds for sure, but surprisingly I haven't burned out yet. With only 7 levels to go, I know I'm going to at least hit cap.

Classic >>> BFA

Wild that it's been over 4 years since this thread.

I ended up playing OG classic pretty much every day until TBC came out in June 2021. Joined a semi-hardcore guild in Jan 2020 full of 30-40 year olds, very well organised loot council/DKP hybrid. Ended up clearing all the raids week of release. Got all the gear I wanted. Full T3 on both. Bis daggers on Rogue. Ambushing clothies never felt so good.

Cleared phase 1 TBC and realised how shit flying mounts made the world feel. Literally killed it for me and I stopped playing. Went back to Dota 2 with the boys.

Tried HC when that came out but it just felt like a meme, casually got to 47 + some lvl 20ish alts over 6(?) weeks. D/C'd without lag once out in the world, didn't die but that nullified any sense of worth to continue playing lol.

Now here I am less than 2 days from SoD release excited to see what that will be like.
