I had high hopes that Hrothgar's Landing would be like QD, but it flopped hard.

Any chance that Tol Barad will be some what close and/or not suck?

I just miss having a place where there were gankables as far as the eye could see. =/

Tol Barad should be like Isle was, they know it was liked a lot, from what I remember it will wintergrasp/isle mixed. When the keep that is there is being fought for it will only be the people in those groups, but the keep is controlled and the battle is won it will be the base zone for all the dailies.

I just hope the carebears did not get it changed.

That's what I hear. I can only assume flying mount will be in play but I can dream!

I wish they'd add a feature where you could queue for cross realm BGs or just your own realm too. But I'm sure there's all kinds of flaws with that idea.

I hate flying mounts so much.

nothing will ever be like qd, flying mounts have killed it.

IMO tol barad and other zones, as long as they dont make it dumb like they did for WG with a zone in the middle of the continent knocking you off flying, no-fly zones, it will bring back the old world pvp feel.

some people will say if you want to kill people on the ground without mounts, go to a BG, but i doubt anyone ever had as much fun as a good gankfest in QD or back in the day a SS->TM brawl.

dont get rid of flying mounts, just limit their use. if they could tie the ability to use a flying mount with the pvp flag timer, that would be the best. it wouldnt hinder travelers or farmers, but once you started shit, you gotta sit tight for a while.

I never found the allure of world pvp. I'm out there doing dailies in 5 minutes, not dailies and world derfting for half a hour because some butthurt nerds can't leave me alone.

Blizzard already said Flying mounts will only be disabled during the battle. So it's gonna be the same as wintergrasp, with some dailies.

It will be nothing like QD.

Meh, at least I can stop them from farming and killing things till the number of players hovering in the air grows to a point where they feel brave enough to come down! I can only hope I can kill them all. I hate runners...

On a side note, I was only 40ish when BC came out so I missed the old school SS/TM fights but I did have this...
