good luck finding someone else to spend 12 hours a day to pick fucking lettuce for minimum wage, because we all know that if Americans wanted to do it, there wouldn't be a fucking market for illegals to cross the borders in the first place.

Those ratings (all hovering 2-3/5 say one of two things:

A- The people rating them are among the most superficial cunts ever.

or

B- We are turning into a nation of chubber chasers.

If we really wanted to stop illegal immigration, we'd simply punish the companies hiring said immigrants as opposed to the people who are capitalizing on said opprotunities.

Not to mention their piss cheap labor is what makes our standard of living possible.

Certain things must be considered when we think about the illegal immigration, no matter who the illegal immigrants are or which country they are in.

1. They are illegally in their host country, and as such, are demonstrating a disregard for the laws of their host country. By extension, their actions mean that they will disregard other laws, as well, if it is to their personal benefit.

2. Let's not assume that all illegal immigrants (cue violins) are hard working, good people escaping tyranny and searching for better lives for them and their families. /sniffle /end music

3. Immigrants, illegal or otherwise, CHOOSE which country to move into. As such, they should not enter that country then immediately become a burden because they won't learn the language, don't like the customs, don't like the laws, or suck up as many social resources as possible. If they don't like a country, go somewhere else. And, if the laws, customs and language from your country are so great, why did you leave it?


These types of conversations only begin popping up when economies become stressed and resources are no longer adequate to go around. And, historically, I think you'll find that the pressure builds until... we'll, it rarely ends with everyone hugging around the campfire singing songs.

Taking advantage of the law aside, the fact remains that no one here legally will do grunt work for rich people who want tended yards.

I'm sure someone will pick lettuce or do hard yard work for minimum wage... and if no one will do it for minimum wage then the price of lettuce goes up to pay higher wages.

Make me president. I'll fix this shit.

1) Give all illegals three months to go home.
2) Build a giant fence with moats, sharks with lazers, barbed wire, auto-turrets and barbed wire. Use National Guard to build the fence along the southern and northern borders.
3) Make 'American English' the national language...
4) After three months, enact a strict immigration policy which indiscriminately checks status of citizens by kicking down doors and checking for birth certificates. Anyone found to be illegal gets imprisonment, fines and permanent denial of even becoming a citizen.
5) Start offering bounty for any illegals in the country.
6) Only accept a specific number of applicants to the country each year. Applicants must speak English, be knowledgeable about customs and have to be able to offer something to the country. Applicant can bring immediate family with them. (Kids and Spouse)

the problem isn't that they're illegal, the problem is that it's easier to come here illegally than legally.

if the system to become a legal immigrant wasn't so fucked, it wouldn't be an issue.

I say let them come here, but fix the immigration office first so they can do it legitimately. therefore, there would be no issues with illegal immigrants(or atl east it would be vastly improved)
