All but 2 of my friends hate gin. Every girl is stupid and says something along the lines of eww it smells like pinesol/mr clean/something.

Little do they know it's awesome. Now Vodka, that's gross (not mixed, at least)

Vodka is pretty much one of the only alcoholic beverages that isn't 80% sugar that I don't touch. I drink my alcohol because it tastes good, not because you can't taste it.

I haven't had any vodka since I discovered the magics of a bottle of Jack in my left hand a bottle of Jager in my right.

Some good nights are spawned from the contents of those bottles.

I hesitate to call anything people from the British Isles eat "food."

In other news, gin isn't particularly good but my roommates and I discovered it gets you drunk about three times faster than other hard liquors of comparable alcohol content, for no good reason at all. It defies logic, but it certainly works.

If destruction exists, we must destroy everything.

Its amazing comfort food and little else. The gourmet spins on Fish & Chips I've had are decent. Corned Beef and Cabbage is decent and Shepard's Pie is highly acceptable.

I like to stick with my favorite 151 and coke. :3

But with the weed I smoke it every other day.

Also, I'd much rather weed be illegal as it would be less expensive because the government would just tax the hell out of it.

See the thing is though, the quality would be vastly increased, and you would always know what you were getting. The prices wouldn't be that much worse. For example:

When I lived in Columbus, an 8th of really crappy stuff would run you $20-$25. If you wanted to get "Dank" that would cost you $50, sometimes $60 (if the guy said it was really awesome stuff or w/e)

In California, where weed is legal...EVERYTHING is $50, and it's all of ridiculously good quality. So yes, you wouldn't have a lower end stuff being sold, but the overall quality would be better...In my time i've definitely over-paid for green that was very meh.

Alright you got me there. lol. Then I think about how much of our money is being used to finance "The Drug War". If they made it legal we wouldn't have the police force arresting people and wasting all that money. We could be using the money for much more important things. There would be a lot less deaths and violence if it was legal. I'm for marijuana being legal it was just some of me liked it being illegal. I guess that feeling of doing something illegal is what I'd miss.

Yeah, but the thing is; over time, if you see enough, you begin to learn what is good and what is bad. You see the qualities of good stuff versus stuff that is bleh. It's like fine wine. If you put two glasses...one of the most expensive red wine ever, and one from a bottle of $8 red wine from the grocery store in front of a guy who has never had wine in his life...he wouldn't be able to tell you which one was the better quality wine by looking, tasting, and smelling.

However, if you do the same test with that guy from Sideways (you know, Paul Giamotti's character)...he could tell you in 2 seconds flat.

Also, you probably just don't have any really trustworthy friends who are into the ganja. If you did, then they would take you, hook you up, show you the ropes and let you know what to look for etc.
