Your vendetta is showing. It's painfully obvious you're trying to get moderated here, to justify blanket-reporting on your part on the original forums. The vote disagrees with you. Deal with it. If you don't like it, no one will miss you.

What happens when I assume over the internet is the same thing that happens when people debate over it. It's one word against another, and no one comes away with a different opinion.

Hatred towards an individual based on their choices is absolutely acceptable. For example, I'm starting to hate you too.

Hatred towards a group of people based on ascribed characteristics is not acceptable. That's the only point I'm trying to make and the only point I have been making (interspersed with insults towards Mayonaise who I think will only learn by having his ass kicked IRL for his ignorance)

I'm curious why there is one poll to bring up two issues. Why isn't there a poll for whether or not to keep the mod titles, and one for whether or not to keep slurs? It seems like the overwhelming majority wants to keep slurs uncensored, but that it is essentially even on whether or not to keep the mod titles.

Personally I don't give a shit what is kept or not, but I think the filters are dumb, especially the ones on nigger and such, because it still makes me say the word in my head, which is the same as not filtering it at all. The ones on fck and sht just serve to disrupt the flow of conversation and really add nothing.

Maybe I just always see the best in people...and I've been wrong before...but Mayo doesn't seem like a bigot to me...

So with an unbearably close vote, it looks like the motion passes that mods keep our title of "faggot". However, in order to keep some cohesion between mod titles (and due to the vote being so close), I'm going to change the actual name of the group to something else, probably "The Gays".

Myself and Yuratuhl, however, will still retain our "faggot" titles. Henq's title will probably be ___ of the gays due to his stance on the issue. All temporary mods will be able to choose their custom title, but the word "Faggot" or "___ of the gays" will be included in your title until your tenure of mod is over (ex, if you wanted your rank to be Derp, your title would be Faggot Derp while you were mod, then would revert to Derp when your tenure is over).

I don't think I am out of line in saying this but...have you lost your mind? How is it possible that you would think this is in any way ok with me after my crystal clear stance on the issue?

The vote was taken, people wanted to keep the mod titles..that's fine. But now whenever a temporary mod gets elected, that person will ALSO have "faggot" added to their title? Wouldn't that cause an even bigger issue?

I'm sorry man, but I have no idea how this translates into anything remotely resembling logic.

The vote was that the mod title of "Faggot" was to stay as "Faggot". This means that no matter what, all mods will be known as "Faggots" or, if you're offended by that, "of the Gays". I intended for all the mods to have a specific rank (ex. I'm the Ultra Faggot, Tuhl will soon be French Faggot, etc). If the rank was changed to "Princess", I would've done the exact same thing.
