I made my ten year old listen to The Wall on our way to the Drive-in movies tonight ($11.50 for a double-bill starting with Shrek IV and ending with Iron Man II!!!!!!), and I say, "How you like it," and he's like, "LOL W/E OLD MAN." Then Brick In The Wall Pt. 2 comes on, and I can tell he kind of likes it, and I say, "This song is about how much school sucks and what a dick the teacher is."
Ten year olds laughing and deciding they have to hear a song again because of lyrical content can be pretty amazing.
Speaking of which.......he likes (sigh) Jimmy Buffett's Cheeseburger in Paradise, and wants more songs about food. Rather than just being lame and lazy Dad and tossing Weird Al at him, does anyone having any "songs about food" I can throw at him?
