Anyone noticed this starting to happen A LOT more than in the past since we started GDKP? Seems like I've heard of at least one ninja every day for the past 2 weeks

I don't do GDKP for a variety of reasons, this is just another one of them.

Probably because shittier people can just buy into GDKP, not to mention people who outgear it will run it for da cash monies.

Definitely want a nice fancy blacklist sticky imo. But make sure there's some kind of proof provided of course. Problem is retards are incapable of providing screenshots all the time.

Whenever i pug i screenshot the raid leader stating the loot rules, and any further ninjas that happen. To me that's common sense.

What really gears my grinds though is that Blizzard's so called ninja looting policy puts the onus on the pugger instead of the raid leader. They're pretty much asking for shit to be ninja'd since all a raid leader has to do is just not state any rules, or state vague ones, and provided they don't go against their own stated (or non stated) rules then they can do what they want.

A thread like that is a massive troll magnet and is begging to get nuked. Not to mention most of the people that make ninja threads lack the brain capacity to post in the proper thread.


Galive posted the same rules time and time again for months on end, but some butthurt faggots that didn't read them bitched so hard he got the mount revoked.

Not to mention half the goddamn time someone reserves loot and it drops, there's always 1 or 2 people that bitches about it being ninja'd even though the raid leader specifically said they were going to take it.

The official stance on threads of this content is that its the community's prerogative to make them, but if someone makes one and it gets considerable traffic I'll sticky it.

In GW it would show up as FriendedName (CharacterBeingPlayed)

The problem is people that NO ONE knows are running gdkp raids and have no idea what they are doing. Then they take off with 50k gold and disapear or just dont give a fuck. As people have had to learn with pugs, dont run with someone that is unguilded, unknown, or just plain bad.

As I understand it, for that particular run Galive stated the mount would be free roll, then janked it when it actually dropped. There were enough reports, and it's a high enough ticket item for Blizzard to comb through the logs and find out exactly what happened. It was determined he did ninja it, and the mount was given to the apparent winner of the roll.
