So I own a WNR1000 by netgear, and it seems to be having a problem recently. Every week on Monday/Tuesday I have to walk over and reset it. This has just started happening, and I was wondering if there was a reason people could tell me why its happening.

It is my first netgear and the only reason I have it is when I got my wife and I bought our Asus's together, they both have the wireless N cards. Best buy was practically giving away the router free so I figured what the hell.

Coupled with the fact that DD-WRT does not work with this router yet, nor does OpenWrt I am at a loss as to why it is doing this.

Anyone have an idea, before I go out and buy a new one this weekend.

There is a reason BBY was almost giving them away. Nuff said. I would highly recomend if you are going with a retail brand router get a Linksys or D-Link. I used to work at BBY and that is all I would sell because they rarely came back and I did not have to explain to people why they did not work. Also, I personally have owned both and if not for the sick ass deal I got on my linksys I would still have my d-link (which is still alive at my brothers house about 6 years after buying it). Netgear and Belkin both tend to have issues.

9 level 90s and 10 85s, Damn I need another hobby.

It's the Chinahackers.

Move to Oregon, and it will get better.
