That show is/was terrible...most of the time. It had its moments every now and again.

But seriously, even the good ones, I can't stand seeing them on [adult swim] for the 400th time in a row. The Dilbert cartoon would be better at this point.

I don't think it works like that, Aestu. Because of the nature of the device, which is probably done like a "shaped charge," and the type of materials involved, there isn't anything you would think of as fallout. According to what my roommate had linked, it's very effective and aside from the radiation released when it goes BOOM, the impact is negligible.

Then again, that may be the information as released by the Russians, and it would be an absolutely horrendous idea because the Gulf of Mexico would glow in the dark.

either way, it's much more difficult to accomplish in the setting now due to the distance and placement. in addition, nuking the area will prevent anyone from drilling in that area to avoid disturbing the buried waste.


you should be more concerned as to the color of the oil, the dispersants used, and the methane component.

That got me reading a Fallout Wiki page by page.

I feel very, very depressed now. Very much so. =(
My stomach hurts.

Most things that people typically find scary or gruesome or offensive don't bother me. I don't mind watching the Berg killing or Chinese fur farms or Hitchcock movies or any other sort of thing like that.

Things like the world of Fallout, Chrono Trigger, or Lorax, or the ending of the Peloponnesian War or the Grapes of Wrath, are profoundly, painfully unsettling to me.

There are some other, very unusual things I find uncontrollably terrifying.

But Fallout makes me feel very depressed and uncomfortable. =(
