Just to reduce clutter and concentrate the fuckload of argument threads in FUBU currently into one place. I've been juggling this for a while and as of late, the politics threads are starting to get out of control.

If the arguments can be stated succinctly and non-insulting to the other posters then yes. If not, fuck it and just mod when it gets out of hand...

You can't expect me to WALK all the way over to ANOTHER board to kill shit.

How will this work?

Will you look at a thread with people arguing and just shift it to another folder rather than locking it?

If so, i on some level approve.

I definitely agree that the one forum does get quite cluttered, and not even just with crap (arguements etc). So any attempt to reduce this clutter via non censorship means is something i can get behind.

So that will be the board where people can yell RAS RAS RAS over and over without any concern for rational thought?

I'd imagine that the rules would be more strict in the favor of keeping the board from devolving into a mass pissing match (that's what FUBU's for).

Things that start going into arguments will be moderated (ex: Tuhl splitting the trinkets thread) and moved to the appropriate board.

Sometimes, I'm not really in the mood to sift through 5 threads of the same 6 people arguing over different stuff, but sometimes I am. Personally, I'd like a board that I can go to where these things can be concentrated so I don't have like 20 updates threads when I get home from work.

EDIT: I use the word "argument" like I would "structured debate".

I like this idea only because it gives FUBU a little more structure. Having one forum where people talk about EVERYTHING can become cumbersome...also good threads fall off the first page faster, and I hate having to click through pages.

I'm not sure how many threads don't fall into the argument category, but it's probably worth a trial run at least.

What is you're intolerant of stupidity...what does your intolerance breed with then, pray tell?
