I can't imagine someone not picking up what you're putting down right now, tbh.

He gets it, but since another part of his psychosis is that he can't admit fault (another part of mine is that I'm compelled to fry things in butter), he can't admit that he gets that or it invalidates his initial post in this thread, which in a roundabout way is an admission of error, even though it isn't.

As long as we've all been pals, we should all be used to one another's little quirks by now.

Your Pal,
Jubber

Enough people praise my intelligence, and I make reliable predictions and useful innovations, that I feel pretty confident in going against the prevailing wisdom. I'm not infallible, but I'm well within my rights to give odds on my opinion better than even money.

And now you know why praise angers me so profoundly.

You two argue like brothers. You both knew where this would go the entire time.

Arguing with my brother is quite a different experience. But then, I haven't seen him in years.

Man, people suck at family. I hang out with my brothers all the time and there's really no one I like better than them.

Jubber treats most people like he would a younger brother.

Of course I do, everyone's my pal, and you gotta look out for your pals.

Anyone need a megalomaniac Mexican fork lift artist for any jobs in the warehouse/distribution or food service fields? I'm LFG right now, but I must be guaranteed fat lootz.

Your Pal,
Jubber

EDIT:

Missed this:

Actually, I like my job. I like it a lot...or I did until I got screwed out of a promotion because...IDK why, but I can make a lot of assumptions, and none of them are particularly flattering to the people I'm making them about. The stupid I work with every day wasn't an issue until I was told I wasn't as good as someone who is basically an over-glorified telephone operator (which makes it even funnier because the first two years I was out of the Navy I was a supervisor at a directory assistance facility...which should make me even more qualified given who ultimately got the job).

Now I'm not happy. Now I'm looking to go elsewhere. If the position hadn't been posted and this never happened, I'd probably just being going in every day and everything would be just fine.

Your Pal,
Jubber

Move closer to DC. I bet you'll find a job there.

In a previous post he mentioned the fact that he wanted a location with a cheap cost of living.

The traffic is a nightmare as well.

There are jobs tho.

it is my firm belief that there are plenty of "jobs" people have had, but a true job is one that you are terrified of being fired from.

also, i agree with tuhl, i love my bros. even if half the time i'm trying to convince them to stop smoking pot and they're like, "LOL FAAAAAAAG"

Verily, I have often laughed at weaklings who thought themselves proud because they had no claws.

DC is the place almost everyone here drives to every day...or Leesburg, or Herndon, or Fairfax...which is essentially still DC, since the only reason there is anything there is because of the sprawl that is the federal headquarters.

I'm looking seriously at Raleigh/Durham after my searches last night. I have at least one couch to crash on down there for a week or two...probably, actually a guest room there. The cost of living there is probably around half of what it is here (my friend bought a house there for $150,000 that would have sold for anywhere from $300,000-$500,000 back when real estate was worth something), and traffic, even during peak hours, is not DC beltway terrible.

Not to mention that there a lot of hot girls there who are too young for me, the weather is nice, and I like the bars I went to the last few times I visited.

Now I just have to find a job there.

Your Pal,
Jubber
