As a cloth wearer, nothing pisses me off more than when a cloth piece goes to a plate, leather, or mail wearer. If no other clothie needs it...then fine...but if it's an upgrade for a clothie, then GTFO.
I can ONLY wear cloth. How is it fair that I wouldn't get an item over some plate wearer, or some stupid boomkin?
I remember in TBC, I was in a raid, and this boomkin rolled against me on cloth boots (this was before you could trade items obviously). Well, despite my protests, they gave those boots to him. A few bosses later, leather caster boots dropped. Yeah....it was fucking bullshit.
If every class could wear every armor, then fine. But since cloth wearers can only wear cloth...it is completely unfair to have other classes get cloth items over them.
That's absolute horse shit. The boomkin should know the loot tables to know of the boot drops, and then not enchant/gem his new gear so it could be traded to you :/
I am sorry you dealt with that idiot.
Edit: Wait, it was during TBC...nvm
