Massive TL;DR about my character choices inc.
I've deleted 4 alts over my entire player tenure.
Yokken (70 warrior) - I hated the warrior playstyle come wotlk (since they killed 1h fury) and it wasn't nearly as efficient or fun as my destro lock. I was never going to realistically play him again, so I scrapped him.
Mutungu (70ish hunter) - I RAF'd with nk for the mount and I got this hunter out of it. Eventually I just used him as a DE bot (again, never going to level him because of the playstyle). I wanted my name for the DK and since I never put much investment into this guy, I didn't feel bad scrapping him.
Hellokitty (48ish hunter) - This was my only character not on Bleeding Hollow and I created it to play with some friends. When they left the game, I scrapped the toon.
I'm very OCD about some things for no real reason, one of them being how condensed my character list is. Currently, I have five toons (Lock, DK, Bankalt, Horde chat alt, and nameholder for Cat) and even that's a little much. With Mayonaise freed up, Nameholder's gonna go byebye and will be replaced with Mayonaise and since most of the people that I like talking to that still play horde I can contact otherwise, Yokken will probably be axed as well.
I've always wanted an Enhance shaman, but I've never had the patience to level one. The only reason I picked up the DK was because warlocks were beyond terrible until 3.1, they didn't have BoA shaman one-handers at the time, and DKs started at level 55. Mutungu has no real benefit to me, as I've completely scrapped him of all of his benefit, plus he has no professions I can use. Chances are he'll never see 85.
Since I'm alliance now, I want to see the new content as well as having the second best race/class combo of Dwarf Shaman (#1 is Gnome Warlock and #3 is troll druid, which was going to be my horde alt). Since I'll never play Mutungu, he has no real value to me, and I'm really OCD about my character slots, Mutungu will be scrapped in favor of Mayonaise, Dwarf Shaman.
