"4 teams of the TR formed a "Council". They colluded and agreed to:

-Avoid queueing against each other to maintain their top 8 status
-Make low MMR alt teams to queue against any contender team rising close to top 8.
-They kept each other informed about which contender team was queueing, and the Council members would use low MMR alt teams and "snipe" them for points."

All this to claim the $75,000 pot at the end.

Most amusing.

I just hope it doesn't stop me from getting my murloc and lolvanq title in a timely manner >,<

lol I think all 8 teams and accounts connected to them should be banned for forming alliances in an sport setting and using game mechanics as exploits.

I stopped keeping up with PvP around the time I stopped reading gameriot (end of S4) but as I understand it the Tourney Realm was always regarded as a joke.

yeah keeping tabs and queuing/not queuing at various times has been going on for ages. Still funny that they formed alliances and what not though lol.

I know I suck at PvP and had to get carried as a holy pally to squeak by for Vanq. I'm quite fine admitting this - contrary to you and your shortcomings - although I intend to eventually sit down and learn to PvP.

However, if Blizzard submits the process to further review, there may be delays in the awarding of prizes - or they may do what they often do, which is create a problem in the course of solving another.[/item]
