Overlord 1 was awesome, never played Raising Hell or Overlord 2.

Thinking about buying the Valve Complete Pack,
I never got around to playing Half-Life 2 or any of the Left For Deads, how are they?

HL2 is absolutely amazing and all you really need to do is buy L4D2, considering its just an improved version of the first one with nearly the same gameplay.

Also, Overlord 2 is a lot more polished and has a lot more convenience factors such as the ability to rez dead minions.

Can anyone recommend some games like... empire building ones, not RTS. I don't want an RTS. Ones where you start off with a small whatever, and build up to greatness and hopefully can take a lot of time doing so.

Games i've liked which are along this vein would be Master of Magic, Heroes of Might and Magic, Sim City. SIM TOWER. Man i had the best tower when i was like 10! Theme Park was good times too.

I guess anything along these kinda lines, just something i can sink some time into over a long period of time.

yeah, f2p and def worth a buy, subbing I can't afford and at the moment doesn't offer enough difference in gameplay for me.
