A few copies passed through my hands in the course of being bought and resold for profit. I read through the manual and game materials, but I didn't actually play the game. It seemed very interesting, particularly the lore/rp, but I prefer to read than see because it is faster.

I wonder how many other readers are even aware of it.

I think I may still have a copy laying in storage back in Sacramento.

Probably because I didn't have a Playstation and didn't play it when things were actually being made for it.

If you ever get a chance to play it, do so. It's one of the best games i've ever played.


just make sure you turn the battle animations off.

might as well go play front mission or vandal hearts though if you're going back to the playstation. i'd say FFT but everyone has beaten that game. of if you want to go real far back, tactics ogre on the SNES which is basically FFT except made like 8 years before it.

you can get tactics ogre for playstation.

the resurrect spell was a pain in the dick to get, so yeah.

wasn't there only two opportunities to get it? i know one was on some retarded battle after you make the choice to be good or evil, and it was practically impossible to get because you had to just zerg the shit out of the main bro to end the map before you lost your entire party.

IIRC, the rez spell was a necessity to earn the emblem to reincarnate a unit into an angel, so yeah you had to conserve the scrolls...at least that was the case in the GBA version.
