This is a circular argument. You don't trust Obama that he didn't do something wrong because you think he did something wrong.

well.. even if he didn't do anything wrong "in" the meeting, the meeting itself was wrong >.>

Obama was hardly the first president in history to meet with corporate executives.

I'd hardly hate on the right wing for being organized, but ok.

Mayo - I think your perception of the right-wing has been influenced by the media taking up for Obama during his first year in office. The man could do no wrong and if you spoke out against him you were a fear-mongering racist who wanted America to die die die. Fortunately, the love affair is over, his support is waning (amongst independents and even democrats) and I think you'll start to see less 'radical right' and more 'pissed off people'... unless you're watching MSNBC... then you'll get more of Keith Lolberman and that Rachel Madcow wrapping their lips firmly around the shaft of this administration.

PS: Politicians have been having town-hall meetings for ages. It's a good way for constituents to express themselves directly to their representative. The problem with the shouting wasn't the shouting, but the fact that the representatives weren't representing. And the left wonders why they keep losing seats in the house and senate. /shrug

If you were against Bush, you were against America.

Both sides play dirty. Solution? Stop believing that these inmates at the asylum can do any good anymore.

Don't have enough time after getting back to the boards for a lengthy response, but...

I cannot put my trust in people who do not adhere to the rules. That includes BP and Obama. It also includes a lot of the previous occupants of the house on Pennsylvania Avenue. It's just that simple, sorry if you can't wrap your mind around that. Call it circular logic, call it paranoia, call it my incessant need to annoy, but...my assertions about this mess will prove true, because I spend way too much time being right.

Your Pal,
Jubber

I didn't see all of these conservatives railing about how wicked and wretched big government was when people they agreed with were in power.

how's that illegal wire tapping, indefinite holding of a person, lack of habeas corpus, and all the wonderous abilities of the patriot act? Bullshit of a law that should've been repealed immediately by obama and i still think he should repeal it.

Even Rush Limbaugh had major complaints about The World's Worst Republican, and they weren't much different than the complaints I hear now.
