Mayo - I think your perception of the right-wing has been influenced by the media taking up for Obama during his first year in office. The man could do no wrong and if you spoke out against him you were a fear-mongering racist who wanted America to die die die. Fortunately, the love affair is over, his support is waning (amongst independents and even democrats) and I think you'll start to see less 'radical right' and more 'pissed off people'... unless you're watching MSNBC... then you'll get more of Keith Lolberman and that Rachel Madcow wrapping their lips firmly around the shaft of this administration.
PS: Politicians have been having town-hall meetings for ages. It's a good way for constituents to express themselves directly to their representative. The problem with the shouting wasn't the shouting, but the fact that the representatives weren't representing. And the left wonders why they keep losing seats in the house and senate. /shrug
If you were against Bush, you were against America.
Both sides play dirty. Solution? Stop believing that these inmates at the asylum can do any good anymore.
