A friend made me go see Titanic when it was in the theatre. The bastard.

Aside from having to wait like two hours to see what were mediocre knockers, and the male lead being more feminine than the female lead, it wasn't unbearable until the band played while the ship sank and the gaggle of twelve year old twats behind us made the mistake of saying something snarky about the musicians that made my friend turn around and scream, "YOU WILL SHUT YOUR HOLES AND NOT MOCK THOSE MEN FOR DOING THEIR JOB." I couldn't stop laughing hysterically. I also couldn't stop giving him shit for getting that wrapped up in it, until he punched me about a week later, then we both laughed hysterically and drank beer.

Knowing you're on your way to the clearing at the end of the path and doing your thing despite that knowledge: that's romance, baby.

Why do you guys know so much about Twilight if you hate it so much?

I know the series is about vampires and there's a new movie out called Eclipse, also there's a guy called Jacob. That's where my knowledge ends. It's a big hit with 13 year old girls so who gives a shit, stop hanging out with 13 year old girls and it won't be an issue.

Probably because it is everywhere we turn. I can't watch an episode of any tv show without seeing the commercials approximately 287 times, give or take a few hundred, and thereby deriving my own conclusions as to what the movie plot is about.

Also, friends suck and constantly talk about it. Even very distant friends and acquaintances, and coworkers. It's inescapable, even if you shut off all media.

I can't tell you how many of my mom friends are obsessed with that stupid book/movie. It is embarrassing. I just don't talk to them or bring my kids over for playdates. Being into a book like that screams emotional immaturity and insecurity and I don't want my short-stacks to be exposed to that sort of crap.

It's popular. People will hate on it. All there is too it. If people don't like something maybe they should talk less about it. Kinda like back on BH forums. All you saw were posts from Aestu haters talking about how they followed him to different servers and random shit. I am not a fan of onions on my hamburgers. ALOT of people do like them though. But i am not gonna make a post on a forum every 5 minutes bashing those who do.
