We are all playing Lego Star Wars right now :)

My recommendations:

New Super Mario Bros
Mario Kart
Guitar Hero World Tour
Mario Galaxy (I don't have #2 yet :( )
Anything Lego
Metroid Trilogy
Zelda: Twilight Princess

That is all I can think of off the top of my head. We have about 2 dozen Wii games. We also have Wii Fit and Wii Active for working out :)

ZELDA. You are not allowed to own a Nintendo system without owning Zelda, it's a rule. Plus the wii controllers make the gameplay really fun, and the content is actually fairly challenging.

If you play with friends often, I recommend Mario Party. It's fun on its own, but even more fun when you're less than sober. Using any kind of strategy is likely to get you labeled as a cheater though. Apparently winning is rude if you do it more than once.

The other suggestions are all xlint as well.

I love me some Monster Hunter 3. I am glad that I have a Wii just for that reason.
