First "Get out of the house and do something"

In the "Would you" thread, I proposed that we create a group who try something different every couple of weeks. The first one will be easy for most of you, probably, but not for me. I'm not a foodie, at all. This could be bad.

GOOTHADS #1

The first venture is to eat at a restaurant you've never been to before. This restaurant must specialize in some ethnic cuisine you have not tried, if possible. I will be trying Indian cuisine. If you've tried everything, choose that which you've had the least experience. Share this meal with someone. Lastly, do a little research before you go and try to order some items in the language. Sure, you'll likely suck, but it'll still be fun. Try to accomplish this before Sunday evening, then post about it here; what you ate, how you liked it, overall experience. Pics to enhance your story would be exlint, as well.

Below is a list of those who have expressed interest in joining this experiment. Don't let not being on this list keep you from participating. The more, the merrier. Get out of the house and do something.

I might do this, will edit to update later. I'm thinking Ethiopian or Jamaican food since I've tried just about everything else...

Boredalt, look up Tandoori. If you can get a sampler of Chicken, beef and Seafood Tandoori. It is SO Good.

I'll take your advice on this because I have no clue. I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy, and strange food is strange. My suffering foodie of a wife is completely stoked about this, though. Say, is any Indian food a known aphrodisiac?

Nope! Firstly, you've been to KFC. Secondly, KFC is not ethnic cuisine. I must admit, however, that I'd love to hear you order in ebonics. I think you should record yourself and post it here.
