Sometimes I get in to this funk where I wake up late for work (which I can't even really be late for) and can't be assed to spend 5 minutes to shave (even though I work flex hours so it doesn't even matter) so I just tell myself I'll do it tomorrow morning, then that cycle goes on day after day.

The only thing that breaks this is going out on the weekends (or weekdays occasionally)... without that savior I fear what would happen. Going on a 2-ish weeker now. Guaranteed RIP on Friday though, potentially tomorrow morning. RIP neckbeard, you will be missed. Until next time.

I think I look good with about a day or so worth of stubble on my cheeks.

Still shave the neckbeard, though, I did that for a while and that was gross.

Buy a straight bladed razor, never pay for another razor ever.

If you get an electric razor get a VERY good one. The econo models or the entry level ones tend to suck horribly. I bought one several years ago that was suppose to be a good one and all it did was yank the hairs on my face, not really cutting them. I am in the same boat when it comes to shaving, I hate to do it, and hate even more after about three days of growth. I typically take my beard trimmer to my face with no guard on days when I dont really feel like shaving.

My facial hair grows in very quick and is very coarse... but my facial skin is really sensitive, so I can't shave but once a week. (I think I have a small bit of seborrheic dermatitis so that doesn't help, either.) By day 3 I have a pretty rugged look going and it's awesome... day 5 I'm looking unkept and dirty. D: I use a beard trimmer to get rid of the long hair, then clean up with a Mach 3.

Edit: I let my beard grow for two months once for a gentlemens competition... my wife hated it because I didn't know I was supposed to wash my beard regularly. She said it smelled like all sorts of shit. :D When I finally shaved it off, I made one of those dastardly mustaches... and eventually a hitler 'stache. sup?

i used to just have a beard because i hate shaving.

i've taken to shaving in the shower now, the hot water makes it easier and it's easier to rinse out the razor.

i might have to go get a better model though. i didn't get a cheap one, but it still kind of sucks.

My best friend back in Chesapeake and I did the same thing in high school. We did not shave for weeks, starting with Christmas break, and yeah the funk was pretty nasty so we broke out the razors and cleaned up.

Shave and brush your teeth in the shower, saves time if you are in a hurry and yes, the hot water makes shaving much more tolerable.

yeah i brush my teeth in the shower too. my gf thinks it's crazy, but i don't see why. it's just like brushing your teeth in the sink, except you don't have to aim when you spit.

(same thing for taking a piss in the shower).

yeah i brush my teeth and shave in the shower. idk why people think it's weird. i think it rules. although, as soon as i get out of the army im never shaving a day in my life again. also, i hear peeing in the shower saves time but i dont have enough room to dance around the yellow water, sooooooooo

Verily, I have often laughed at weaklings who thought themselves proud because they had no claws.
