It's the first time that people really had a very legitimate concern, the massive priest/druid complaints were just people that didn't like a gameplay change, this time it was people privacy at stake.

The thing that's funny though, is all these people are now praising blizzard...like "great job guys...thanks for listening...you're awesome!!!"


I just keep thinking...why was it even an idea in the first place? Any moron should know that putting real names on an internet forum is asking for trouble....idk...

They're too busy not fixing hunter pets, making water more realistic and trying to come up with a Deathwing fight that doesn't horribly resemble most other dragon fights in this game.

I don't like Mayonnaise. I think he's a complete asshole and the worst possible moderator for these forums. I'm allowed to say this because nothing is censored here.

"At this time..." portends that they will probably try this again in the future.

They'd have to change their ToS in order to implement it...and the ToS probably won't give Blizzard the CYA they think it will because of legal precedent in at least one state. I don't think the ToS will stand up to a serious specific legal challenge because I find it difficult to believe that any court would allow someone to indemnify themselves in the way Blizzard and other companies try to do with their mumbo-jumbo seven-thousand word "click here to continue" novels.
