They wouldn't want you to not see all the content.

I installed last night but didn't get a chance to play until this morning.

Tried to play a quickie 1v1 (comp) before work, but alas: there was no sound.

Perusing the battle.net/tech support forums, it seems in windows vista/7 the game doesn't like 7.1 channel surround sound. The workaround is to set speakers to stereo/something under 4.1.

According to the tech support forum, multiple people had the same problem in beta phases 1 and 3, but it worked fine in phase 2.

Terrible.

Outbreak was pretty hard on Brutal. Have people actually gotten far enough in the game to judge? I'm barely done 1/5th of the campaigns right now. If they get much more difficult than Outbreak I am pretty much finisheddddd.

gorp finished it and said that outbreak, some other map, and then the last one were the only hard maps. the last one was apparently only difficult because kerrigan has like 1300 hp and two shots everything.

It's rarely actually an issue for me, but I also dislike this on principle.

outbreak was easy as fuck

last one i played wrong the first time i did it (i did the mission that stopped them from using mutas/guardians) and i didn't kill the nydus that spawned. Got the artifact to like 60 something %

2nd time i got it to the 85-90s and i got overwhelmed on one side by being stupid.

3rd time i got it easily with my roving banshee anti-nydus squad

Still not sure how I feel about the ending there.

I think outbreak took me over an hour to complete. I underestimated the size of the map so I didn't send enough teams around... and then by the fifth night, my base was over-run. The only thing that saved a couple of my buildings, a medic and a marine was day break. I was scurred.

I did Outbreak on normal because I wanted to play the campaign without any effort first for story purposes, so I always attacked at night because zombies never stop spawning and it's so much more fun :D
