It's coming up soon (atleast here anyway).

There is no better place for simply fucking with people. This year I'm throwing on a corset and a dress and my buddy is going to try and sell me to people.

Unfortunately though, most of the people who go don't wear costume these days, so if you're wearing one, everyone tends to think you work there. I had a group of girls asking me to teach them how to use devil sticks, and they persisted to learn something from me even when I said there is nothing but barebone basics.

Minnesota has one of only six(?) permanent fair grounds in the US. We have axe/knife/shuriken throwing, Puke and Snot, caber toss/sheaf toss and my favorite thing anywhere - TOMATO JUSTICE.

It would probably be better called Medieval Festival. But Med Fest sounds like a pharmacist convention. Plus, Renaissance Festival just sounds better (thanks romance languages). I've seen occasional (because MN is really white) ninja, samurai, mamelukes, etc etc.
