I love LoL, which is a DotA clone.

DotA though... well it was more due to DotA's community being almost completely filled with elitist pricks.

Loved seeing it go from "DotA - US - PROS ONLY" to "DotA - US - GODLIKE ONLY".

I can understand not wanting bads on your team, but when you're definition of bad is anybody that dies at all in a game... you're just a twat.

Eh, Dota style gameplay is fun. Personally I love Monday Night Combat, which is basically a 3rd person DoTA clone

It already has, they call them moba's(Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, I think). I think other than LoL, DotA, and Heroes of DotAclone, there's also a few others, with Demigod being the only one that I can name.

Heroes of DotAClone is obviously the best. I mean out of all the heroes they could port over, they chose Dwarven Sniper, king of right click and afk. That's how you make your clone of a game more interesting, by leaving out the good heroes.

At least his name and animations are hilarious, though.

I think what we need more of is the DoTA gameplay adapted into something else other than an RTS. IE: FPS or TPS DoTA or hell even if blizz decided to take a page and make a DoTAish BG for WoW (Like AV w/ Automatic Super Creeps)

I love playing DoTA, I'm just getting sick of it always being played as a RTS.

If you have been on the fence about trying out LoL, go get it now and be on IRC when I get done watching Bleach tonight (likely ~7pm Eastern). We'll make it a huge diskslapfest and pick someone at random to mock for being bad.

Not everyone will be able to play Ashe, so someone learn Twisted Fate so we can all make extra golds.
