I'm like zraryi, much more forward/talkative/social online. I also feel like my vocab takes a massive fucking hit as soon as i log on vent and i can never find the right words that i would otherwise use, if say i was chating an irl friend.

I don't think I have any different persona across characters. I suppose I'm a little nicer when I'm on Eponine (my tank) because I have much more control over the group and so want to be more of a leader.

I will generally crack jokes or be silent in pugs if things are going well. When things go bad, I might rage, or be a douche if someone is being utterly retarded. Or I might seize control of the situation (as a healer or DPS) and talk to the mouthbreathers like they are 4 year olds.



I think online personalities are just real life personalities magnified. The anonymity given to people by the computer screen allows it to be so. Consider Aestu. From what I can understand...IRL he's quite the personality. Bring that in game, and you get the legend.

I am actually pretty shy and awkward IRL. My husband calls it endearing. Online I am more flirty than I would be face-to-face.

Nah, I'm an incredibly nice guy and very patient, but I don't put up with much bs.

I don't talk crap about people behind their back unless I've already said as much to their face, but most d-bags aren't worth even that much attention... of course their are some truly special people worth the effort.

I was browsing looking for the Cataclysm pics thread and saw this, thinking you were all posting what personas you used for the Firefox addon.

I'm definitely more shy in real life and 20x more indecisive. I'm also a gigantic asshole and drop in an out of people's lives on a constant basis with no regard to them.

Though in WoW: I am always the talkative one in the group. I just can't bring myself to leave a guild even if it is terrible, as long as the people are halfway decent. Once connections are made I'll (usually) do my best to hold on to them if I feel it's worth it.

I do attempt to assume control of a situation in both, aside from raids because I just don't have the patience to deal with 24 idiots. I don't know if you'd call that a persona, but I'm tweaked a bit when I log on.
