These things vary between genders as much as they vary from person to person-- how can you make the claim it is purely gender related?
All definitions of groups are defined by the mean. The fact there is overlap at the edges doesn't diminish the validity of the definition.

You can reverse "expected" roles, they vary by culture anyway. Psychological and emotional development is a huge shitstorm of conflicting theories, anyway.
How many cultures have mostly female leaders, soldiers, merchants, homemakers? How many cultures choose men for those roles? Why?

What specifically are you pointing to, then? You seem to be the only one who knows. Give us a list of the things you think are the most important.
Men tend to be more aggressive. They tend to think in terms of logic, whereas women think in terms of feeling. Men tend to make dealings based on respect and reasoned argument, whereas women tend to make dealings based on shared goals or values. Men tend to think more in terms of the horizon, women are more focused on the here and now. Men tend to put function over form; for women it is the opposite.
The judgment being made here by the posters as to which is superior and inferior is not the means but the ends.
