As much as we all know I hate disagreeing with Aestu, I have to go with Boredalt on this one. As Mr. Dooj points out, your word is your bond, and even among some of the shadier groups of people I've associated with over the years, that is deeply important.

Among the shady people who didn't care about honesty were, not surprisingly, people (I use that term loosely) in various parts of the government.

Just get the copy of the contract and go from there. If there is no such provision, tell them to eat a Costco-sized bag of dicks.

Otherwise...you could always sexually harass one of the fitness "experts," and hopefully they'll toss you out on your ass and tell you not to come back, breeching the contract on their end. You've kept your word, but the contract is broken, so it's all good.

Jubber

Possibly one of the oldest tricks in the book by the gym company. Nearly all gyms do this or something similar. I think it was Bally's used to or still does have a clause where the only way you can cancel is if you move x number of miles from any gym owned by them.

Cya 280 bucks.

Definitely mad at myself.

And yes, I didn't realize that gyms would try to fuck people over so adamantly...I guess this is common knowledge. Having never joined a gym before, I suppose I should have known anyway.

As for the lifting heavy objects...there's nothing wrong with trying to be fit and healthy...it's the whole $70 a month when I have a viable alternative that bothers me.

Whatever, I'm going to pay it out (although I'm quite interested to see what this woman says), then I'm going to cancel and give a nice big "fuck you" to the gym on the way out.

Is shitting in a urinal a criminal act? I might do that.

When I worked at a big-box building supply store I got a call to the restroom from the manager. He wanted me to clean some poop because someone took their turd and wrote "LOL POOP" on the wall. I told him I wasn't a janitor.

Just write something on the wall with poop.

Yes.

I highly suggest the "ward of the state" slant given your desire to defecate as a means of gaining the upper hand.

Taking a shit in a urinal isn't a "fuck you" to the gym so much as it is a "fuck you" to the janitorial staff.

Yeah, take a shit in the employee lockers.
