Yeah, but you just have to hope you don't run into them...then you get the question, "hey did you get my text??"

The other annoying thing about texting is the texting plans. Cell phone companies try to butt rape everyone at every turn.

Unlimited plans are too expensive (considering I don't text THAT much) but it's a challenge to find the "sweet spot" of texting. I know I'm texting way more now than I was before because of aforementioned girl...I just hope I don't go over my limit

Personally, I vastly prefer talking on the phone, but unless I'm talking to my mom I tend to get really nervous and I stutter pretty badly. Therefore, I text a lot more than I talk on the phone (I send on average 9k texts a month, have had months with much more [500+ texts a day sometimes]).

But I do prefer hearing the voice of the person I'm talking to - I'm shite at picking up sarcasm in texting, and you lose something when you can't hear inflection and emotion.
