I laugh about people that are obviously doing everything wrong and I don't make any effort to help them. I don't pretend to know enough about them as people to take the analysis any further, though.

mikebro is right. Some people need the asshole telling them they are retarded to kick them in the gut and realize they should be doing something else. Other people need someone to help them and give them advice on how to play.

I find that most of the people who are bad respond like an asshole when I try to help them.

So i just start off as an asshole, PREEMPTIVE STRIKE.

You can't help those who don't want to change. Not everyone's definition of fun is min-maxing their character and berating those who don't. Just find like-minded people to play with.

That's how I stopped being an absolute terribad PvE rogue.

Enchants are, honestly, mostly optional unless you're raiding. It's not like they're prohibitive to get, but if you're running heroics it really doesn't matter what you're wearing.

Gem slots... well, there are players who care to do math on things, and then players who take the game's suggestions. They view the game putting in a blue slot as a suggestion that blue is the best color there. Not surprising.

I ate a shadow crash while doing Vezax as ranged for the first time. Personally, I blame everyone but myself (especially Akurai).

But then I did more DPS and damage than Corus's e-gf as a badly-geared destro lock on Yogg0, so I think I made up for it.

I'm more like Kay on this one. Whenever people would post bad armories on the forums, i'd feel kinda sad for the horrible player. Of course i can't relate to them at all, since my first video game i've always tried to master them. I get that people 'play games for fun' but i can't work out how playing something badly, being completely shit at it, and having other players online tell you you're doing it wrong is fun. That has to be demoralizing. Not fun. So don't pull that fun argument. If i got told i was doing something wrong, i'd be embarassed and would want to fix it. For these peopel to get told they're doing it wrong yet still queue again and make no attempt to fix it only to face the same online scrutiny has me flummoxed. Either they get off on having people critique them, they're ignorant and refuse to improve, or they are at a level of not giving a shit that's so intensely laid back, to quote my 5th form accounting teacher "If Nick was any more laid back, he'd be horizontal".

I really don't understand them at all. I want to hug them since i like to assume they're just bad at video games and perhaps get hurt feelings when e-bullies mock them.
