I'm a little ashamed to say I kind of went out that way today. There was a lot of bullshit about "team effort" and how dumbass didn't want this to be "us vs. you guys," and I pretty much told him he'd already burned through any goodwill he had banked with his other bits of dumbassery, and there was no "I" in team, but there was no "U," either, thanks for asking, and that the problems he was having were all his/the company's and I didn't think I needed to be put out because other people were grossly incompetent to the point that even the clueless people at work said things like, "I don't know much about this, but I don't think that guy has any idea what he's doing."
So dude pushed the issue, and pretty much said, "Well, your two choices are go along and get along, or be a fly in the ointment and get fired." I showed him Option Three, dropped all my work-related bullshit, turned around and looked at the other gathered employees and said, "I understand that a lot of you think you can't get jobs elsewhere. Some of you probably shouldn't even have this one. If you want to stay here and be this fag's bitch, that's your call, but I'm out."
I walked out and didn't look back.
On the way out of the parking lot, I saw other cars pulling out behind me.

I've done a lot of inventory/warehouse/logistics stuff, I've done a lot of restaurant/catering stuff, I've done some computer-related stuff (database/website), and I've done a smidge of administration (but I suck at Excel, which everyone wants now). I've held a secret clearance, and have done a lot of middle-management crap...basically the one thing I'm good at is herding cats.
