Leonardo DiCaprio was a teenage dream of mine that I obviously got over and then couldn't stand. But after movies like Blood Diamond and Catch Me If You Can, he got my appreciation. I'll watch anything he's in now.

Alternatively, I love Adam Sandler, and couldn't stand Punch Drunk Love. Maybe I should give it another shot. I'm not against typically comedic actors doing serious films (e.g., Jim Carrey's Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is one of my favorite movies), so I'm not sure what happened with PDL.

The Sandler film you should have used for any and all 'yeah but' comparisons is Spanglish.

I know guys like Bill Murray and Dennis Miller were hard acts to follow, but even Norm McDonald was better on weekend update.

Maybe I'll try to watch while I have some downtime anyway.
