I was going to say it's because I outgear the rest of the raid in that pic (generally I do, that was an alt / pug run it looks like and I'm wearing Naxx gear).

However, then I see Ilythiiri so far below me on the damage meter and I laugh cause he always outgeared me.

And I also take pleasure seeing me stomping Dviny's face in damage on mobs that aoe stun the melee.

Dviny was one of the worst hunters this game has ever seen.

Not that this should detract from his PvE dps at 60, mind you.

We kited the Bat Handler to just above Lakeshire and kept him there for a couple of hours until a GM came and took him away This was a couple of months after WoW was released, so if the flight master wasn't there, you couldn't land. Good times

Dviny is the only person that ever earned a lifetime boycott for heals from my priest. And he earned it in the middle of a night of C'Thun progression attempts.

He had to be moved to another group needless to say.

God I hated that guy. But since it took intelligence and skill to play a hunter at 60, he still managed to do good dps in pve, especially when he didn't have to switch targets at all.

It's really not a good story. I already thought he was an asshole, and he kept fucking up his positioning (too far back), which pushed me out of range of the melee in front and I couldn't heal the melee. I asked him nicely to move forward, then not so nicely, then told him to fucking move, etc, and he kept going ballistic that I didn't know how to play because he couldn't move forward because then he would be in the dead zone. I tried explaining the maths behind his min range was x yards, the melee was y yards away from the boss + my max range of z yards, and how far apart we had to stand, and how it all worked out, but he just started cussing and being... well, Dviny about it. So I told him I wasn't going to heal him anymore, explained it to Phaeth who I'm pretty sure didn't believe me until Dviny blew up a few times, and then moved him out of my group.

Sad thing was he wasn't even close to in being in position. He was so far back I had to go all the way back to the wall + off to one side to get out of range of him. It wasn't a matter of slightly screwing up a pretty difficult fight, it was being so far out of place that you could tell at a glance.

Just basically him being a terribad player + a complete idiot + getting people killed who I was tasked with keeping alive. It was a pretty epic shouting match in party chat. Emazin probably remembers it.

Aren't those like some of the first cards, that are also not made anymore, and also also still amazingly awesome?

I highly doubt more than a handful of inheritance sniffers have actually bought those for their ridiculous prices.

I played Mtg on and off for a long time. I started after Ice Age came out, and pretty much played right through until... now this will test my memory. I want to say Urza's Legacy (or Destiny, whichever was third) but odds are i played for another block after that. Then i went to a few random pre-release tournaments over the next few years because they're super nerdy fun, and don't require you to own any cards at all. Whcih is convenient since i'd sold everything i had.

Ok i looked at the lists, and i definitely played from Ice Age right though to the Masques block. Quit after that and missed the next two blocks (may have entered one prerelease during that time). Played all three mirrodin prereleases, then the first Kamigawa one. Then i went to the Lorwyn one because Kithkin kinda reminded me of Gnomes but not really. Haven't touched a magic card since. 10 more sets been released since then. Crikey~!
