yeah, it is really frustrating when Youtube started cracking down on copyrighted songs. You just have to know which artists' songs can be posted... sometimes the more popular songs can also have loopholes.
However, the only way you can really find out is if an unofficial user has posted said songs you were going to use in your video in their own and didn't get it muted.
I usually use "unheard of" songs for my vids on youtube since it is very unlikely that my content is going to get muted/removed.
