AND SO THE GREAT DEBATE BEGINS:

dunno don't have a MP3 player and stuff so i'm in the market for one and it's down to the Zune HD or Ipod Touch.

So proz and Cons:

Zune:
-More Case Customization(Colors, etching, etc.)
-FM Tuner Built in

Ipod:
-Works with Mac's, Zune require me to Dual boot OS in order to do shit w/ music, but i have a 360 so i can just do it through that.
-More people have them

I dunno Fubu, your thoughts on this problem?

Pros:
Works with all systems.
Charges when you plug it into your PC via USB under the cap.
Holds plenty of songs.
Built in radio.
Athletic workout modes and calories burned notification?
Multiple options.

Cons:
Sorry, there are just none. Oh wait, it comes in 3 colors, black, black, and black. No case custimization and chances are few people have one. So if you want trendy(lolmac) you're shit out of luck.

The ipod charges when you plug it into your comp as well. I've had one of the older style wheeled ipods for a couple years now and I don't really have any complaints.

Having an fm tuner doesn't seem like much of a positive, the radio is what I listen to when I don't/can't have my ipod. I always have my ipod in a separate case, and there are hundreds of them out there, so case customization isn't really an issue.

As long as you've got a smart-phone just go for the most basic option, you don't need all that extra shit on an ipod touch if it's all on your phone anyway.

Seems like dual booting would be a bigger pain in the ass, even with a 360 you'd have to dl the song, transfer them to the 360, then sync it with the zune. I haven't heard anything bad about zune, but it just doesn't seem worth the hassle.

Bunch of wierdos. Just get a shitty mp3, it doesn't have to make you lunch and suck your dick, Just has to play music. I download songs from Youtube and then just put them straight on the mp3, which reminds me, what's the point of those CDs that come with the mp3s all "LOL SOFTWARE"? Is it just for idiots who don't know how computers work? I understand iPods you have a to have a program but you get my point.

I've used an iPod Touch 3rd Generation for 1 and a half years, no complaints. Except for when you have your music stored on an external HD and you forget to turn it on so when you choose a song from it on iTunes, the program sometimes freezes, cause it's retarded.

Just to let you know, both Zunes and iPods have all of these things, not to mention they're not lol2gigs.

PS: What the fuck is the point of radio? Its like shuffle with ads and music that I don't like.

I don't know why you'd use either when most people's phones have all the requisite capabilities. I'm always months behind and if I wanted to listen to MP3s on the go, I could do it on my phone.

This.

I went through the same thing when I was deciding. What ultimatly sold it for me was the app store. Some of my favorite apps were turning my ipod into a wireless mouse, a wireless itunes remote, the ability to stream any video to the ipod, myst on the ipod, and great news apps.

If all you care about it music then go with the zone I hear it has better sound quality but its really only noticeable if you are an audiophile/fullofyourself.

The 4th generation ipod come with a built in camera (shitty quality but its not meant to be a camera to begin with) and mic (convenience). I would suggest getting a pair of decent earphone rather then the PoS earbuds from apple though.

That was the point I was making and the only reason I listed radio was because it was mentioned previously. Not like you can't buy a cheap mp3 that has more than 2 gigs or anything, that's just all I needed. I only take between 30-150 songs with me. I just don't feel the need to waste money on something I don't need to be trendy(lots of people do).

Don't get the Zune HD or iPod Touch if you're just using them for music, you'll be paying a lot of money for features you'll never use (nice screen, wifi, apps, camera, mic, etc...) If you do want to use it for working out I wouldn't recommend them either, they're kind of big and clunky. You have to get some armband that gets in the way when you work out, you're better off getting something smaller that can hang off the neck.

I personally have some super old Panasonic mp3 player (with FM radio!@~!), an 80gb iPod Classic, and a 32gb iPhone4. Never had an issue with any of them other than iTunes being a piece of shit (apparently the Zune equivalent is pretty bad too) and I have never seen a good FM tuner in an mp3 player.
