So I found this, and it's awesome.

I made an ocean fortress.

I made a normal fortress, but Kamguh kept lighting everything in the world on fire so I covered it with water. Then Kamguh filled it with TNT and blew it up.

I've been very slowly creating a sky fortress made of sand and glass.

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

a friend of mine made a glass pyramid underwater and took all the water out. It's pretty ingenious.

mine's the typical giant stone construction with pillars 9 blocks high elevating it out of the water.

I just have a hill fort.

It's awesome because the beginning of it is my main area for crafting, and where I 'bank' my stuff, and that part is a tiny portion of the whole now.

Currently building a stone arc bridge.


I saw the tutorial from Machinima on Youtube before playing, and I was under the assumption that survival would be something along the lines of:

- Build shelter/weapons during day.
- Fend off monsters during night.
- Build stronger shelter/weapons during next day.
- Fend off stronger/more monsters during next night.
- Repeat 3 then 4.

And that mobs would damage blocks and such.

But it's not.

It is only in alpha though.

Also, getting ambushed by exploding mobs is FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

It's really easy to do things they can't deal with. Once your fortress, regardless of how conventional it is, is complete, you really only ever have to worry about mobs spawning in natural caves that you discover.

Fucked up the first picture (of the lit up man), it looked better D:

I do not know the specifics but they are constantly posting screenshots of their "zone" and all of their crazy towers on the HS forums.

This is a top-down view, standing on a pile of dirt, of my fortress two days ago. Only the smallest side towers were complete, and I took the screenshot mostly as a blueprint so I could remake after the server I built it on was reset due to Halloween update.



My single-player castle developed more organically, and as such isn't symmetrical. It's nice, though.

I would be willing to host a "FUBU" Minecraft server if there is enough interest, or even a Bleeding Hollow Minecraft (since not everyone that plays minecraft on our server reads FUBU).

No, but they will soon be able to shoot fire at you.... They look like the Super Mario ghosts but bigger
