I'm almost done leisurely farming the mats for one, I don't see how it's worth anything more than a few hundred gold.

Now if I had the Eye, I still wouldn't buy it since it's pretty easy to make and as far as I know MC isn't going anywhere.

I have been listing my hammer for 45k, then 35k, which I know to be more than its worth but I was after the lazy customers. This guy kept undercutting me by a gold then spamming in trade that "Selling Sulfuron Hammer for 4k less than Baneleaf" calling me out by name, lol. I had a nice litte conversation wtih him about being a raging cunt in trade and if he wanted to sell it for that cheap to go ahead. I paid 18k for mine with only needing 6 ignots so I had already decided to sell the mats I had in the the bank to recoup part of my money. This guy is just simply a dick and he wont get 20k for it because he likes to be an ass.

How can you really say anything in a game is "useful"? If you want to judge value by "usefulness" in terms of combat then vanity items should be dirt cheap and ICC BoEs expensive beyond compare.

It's all about consumer demand.

People aren't foaming at the mouth to have a lvl 67 epic, i.e. he won't get the 20k for it unless someone like you decides to pay that for it. Yes he may get lucky but odds are he won't.

Just because I want to sell an item for what I think it is worth, doesn't make it worth that much to a consumer.

If by this you are referring to the Hand of Rag (or major component thereof), I think its appeal is quite a bit wider than "someone like me".

When I say "someone like you" it isn't in a derogatory manner. There are people who find worth somewhere that others don't. You think it's valued at 20k in your opinion and since I don't value RP or twinks or old weapons that I can't use in the current content for any amount of effective PVP or PVE it is useless to me. That's all I meant.

Oh, I didn't take it as a derogatory remark at all. I simply think that when you say "like me", you're associating interest in this mace with only the very far edge of the spectrum. I think there's a much wider spectrum that would be interested in this thing than that which I represent.
